If you asked Francis Chan, "What's more important than family?" he would refer to Luke 14:26, where Jesus said, "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters - yes, even his own life - he cannot be my disciple." In other words, Chan says, our commitment to Christ, our obligation to carry out the Great Commission, must take precedence over everything else ... even our family relationships, as important as those are. On today's broadcast, Chan -- an author, speaker and former pastor -- discusses the importance of following God's calling on our lives and passing on your faith to your kids in a discussion based on his book Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit.
